This week, BUHSD schools welcomed seniors and their families for Senior Family & FAFSA Nights! From connecting with college and trade school representatives to exploring scholarships, financial aid, and military opportunities, students and families had the chance to ask questions, gather resources, and start mapping out what life after high school could look like.

Behind every big next step is a community cheering our students on. We’re proud to help our seniors explore their options, find their path, and get ready for everything that comes NEXT!

Sandra Day O'Connor made history as the first woman on the U.S. Supreme Court, appointed by President Reagan in 1981. Her pragmatic approach and consensus-building skills marked her tenure. O'Connor once said, “The power I exert on the court depends on the power of my arguments, not on my gender,” highlighting her belief in merit and reasoned legal arguments. She was pivotal in many significant decisions, often serving as a swing vote in close cases. BUHSD families, don’t forget that Wednesday, September 16 is an Early Release Day for Staff Professional Learning.

Classes will follow the regular schedule tomorrow - not the late-start schedule.

Dismissal times:

EFHS: 11:30 a.m.
YHS: 11:20 a.m.
