Band students start the year as a member of the Roughrider Regiment Marching Band. As part of this showcase ensemble, students will perform at football games, marching band festivals, and parades. It is generally understood that band members will continue enrollment during the spring semester for Concert Band, which is also a core instrumental ensemble where students perform quality wind repertoire. The band doubles for Pep Band during both semesters. The club will perform concerts, attend festivals, and participate in an out-of-state trip each year.
